Salsa on1 Versus on2, Which one Phoenix Dances?

In preparation for our Grand Opening Event of First Salsa Saturday starting this Saturday October 3rd, this seemed like a good topic to cover.

This is a question that we get asked frequently by all levels of dancers.

There are many talented teachers and dancers in both groups, so at the end of the day it really comes down to a personal preference.

Phoenix, and Arizona in general has always been a mixture of On1 and On2 depending on what events or classes you attend.

Cavallo Dance Az, our events, and also the events that we attend are all On1 events. We have danced and competed both styles, and we prefer On1 for a variety of reasons. The musicality will always be easier to understand and execute, especially for beginners. During our travels throughout the world, from California, to Italy, everyone has danced On1, so it is a very internationally recognized form of dance.

There are many weekly On1 events in the Phoenix area to choose from. So let's end the age old debate now, because Phoenix definitely does both!
